Course Description
This practical asset forfeiture course was designed with the
interdiction/street officer in mind. The course will instruct students in a practical manner to make asset forfeiture understandable and easy
to use. This course will cover in detail the steps necessary for a successful forfeiture case. These methods have been tested and are proven to be successful in the Federal system. In order to achieve a successful asset forfeiture program this course is a must.

Instructors
Mark Parker is currently employed as a Special Agent with the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation. S/A Parker has been in law enforcement for 12 years, with 10 years being with the NC
SBI. S/A Parker has been working drug investigations, primarily focusing on all phases of interdiction investigations for his NC SBI career. S/A Parker is also assigned as a Task Force Agent with the Raleigh, NC DEA Resident Office, concentrating on interdiction and asset forfeiture cases. S/A Parker is involved on a daily basis with the process of seizing assets and through trial and error has developed techniques to simplify and facilitate asset forfeiture seizures for street and interdiction officers. S/A Parker is a certified state instructor, who has taught for INIA at national and international conferences.
Carl Wall is currently a Special Agent with the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation. SA Wall has been in law enforcement for 11 years, 5 years with the Wake County Sheriff’s Office and 6 years as a Special Agent. SA Wall has been assigned as a Drug Enforcement Administration Task Force Office for the last four years assigned to the Raleigh, North Carolina Resident Office. SA Wall has processed seizure cases for various local and state agencies, he has been involved in some of the largest currency seizures in North Carolina. SA Wall teaches asset forfeiture across North Carolina for local agencies and has taught at the INIA National Conference.
